Prices
Unlike most
IP firms we do not charge for every letter, email and telephone call.
Rather, we charge fixed pre-agreed prices for specific tasks. Furthermore,
we only charge at key stages throughout the life of an application, such
as for the preparation and filing of a patent, trademark or design
application, or for the provision of an opinion on a Search or Examination
Report, or for preparing and filing a response to an Examination Report.
We do not charge for minor events such as telling you that your
application has been published. We also have the following price promises
:
- Our prices are competitive.
- We will endeavour to provide you with our best price for a particular task.
- The price will be fixed.
- We will not exceed that amount without your agreement.
- Certain tasks may be based on an hourly rate. However, we will not charge you on that basis without your prior agreement.
- We are not presently VAT registered and therefore
we will not charge you any VAT. However, if this changes VAT will have
to be added to invoices for UK clients.
In some circumstances we are also able to offer an
all-inclusive fixed price package for a new UK patent application. The
price includes the preparation and filing of the specification (including
the description, claims, drawings and abstract), providing you with
comments on the Search Report and Examination Report(s), making any
required amendments during examination, and the payment of all official
fees.
